Woodland Trust

The Woodland Trust has more than 250 sites across the UK that provide a place to visit. Many woodlands are small and require little signage, but for others, orientation and information is important.

It is often the Trust's first opportunity to talk to visitors raising awareness of its cause and the individual woodlands. Interpretation panels are therefore a key communication tool for the charity in reaching multiple audiences.

Working with site managers and the wider East Anglia and Midlands regional team, I am researching and writing a series of new panels to form a key part of the welcome for visitors to a number of sites.

Ensuring the signs are developed in line with the Woodland Trust brand guidelines, I am liaising with designers to complete the interpretation that will be improve the visitor experience across the range of sites.

This work started in March 2022.
